Connecting DD exchange to Equifax’s workforce solutions platform called CaseBuilderTM, the stated integration delivers on its promised value proposition by reducing paper-based unemployment insurance (UI) information requests, expediting the unemployment claim process, while simultaneously maintaining the security and privacy of employees’ information. Talk about Equifax’s CaseBuilder, it is essentially an on-demand claims management platform meant to let employers simplify and streamline the unemployment case management process and manage unemployment taxes, as well as the associated tax rate. Given the integration in question, though, the users of this platform can now receive automated notifications of decisions impacting claimant eligibility and take a quicker action when filing an appeal. Furthermore, the employers from here onwards will be able to eliminate the need for mailed or faxed forms, something which should greatly enhance security and privacy and trigger a reduction in regards to mailing costs and staff time.

In case you are wondering what a State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES) actually is and what role does it have in such a development, it is conceived to connect state unemployment agencies to employers for the purpose of transmitting information about unemployment insurance claims. The said information includes claimant information, employer information, and determinations and decisions made by the state agency. As its subsidiary, DD exchange is entrusted with the responsibility to facilitate the UI claim process on a granular level. Once the process is duly completed, the exchange then informs employers on claim decisions, and if they are not satisfied, it also helps them to put-together an appeal against the same.
