Streamlining the Word Across Your Organization

Date:

The human arsenal has seen some really valuable elements over the years, but at the same time, it hasn’t seen anything more significant than that desire of ours to improve at a consistent pace. We say this because the stated desire has already fetched the world some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is purposed around its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a powerful tool run the show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond.

Firstup, the first intelligent communication platform for the workplace that connects over 17 million employees worldwide, has officially announced a set of new enhancements for its integration with Microsoft Teams, along with a new and dedicated Microsoft Azure Active Directory integration as well. According to certain reports, the stated enhancements are all geared towards helping employers reduce digital workload, while simultaneously letting them use targeted communications as a medium to bolster employee engagement and productivity. Talk about how the whole development looks and functions on a more granular level, the answer begins from a brand-new Firstup Microsoft Tab. Here, the idea is to equip employees with uninterrupted access of intelligently orchestrated content, and guess what, they can do so within their original workflow. Given the hassle-free pathway and a notably streamlined piece of content waiting at the end, this functionality should save your workforce some sizeable time on a day-to-day basis. Next up, we have the Self-Service Configuration, which is designed essentially to deploy and brand the Firstup Microsoft Teams app. As the solution in focus takes up the entire deployment burden, it will be able to reduce configuration timelines for IT teams. Lastly, there is the integration with Microsoft Azure Active Directory. Our final highlight of Firstup’s newly-launched solutions can be expected to automatically sync employee profiles, attributes, and group data from Microsoft Azure Active Directory into Firstup profiles. Such a feature, like you can guess, will make those manual workflows within the stated area utterly redundant.

“We continue to advance our integrations with Microsoft to bring our customers a true omnichannel communications experience,” said Cheryl Chavez, Chief Product Officer at Firstup. “Our platform provides the data intelligence and distribution capabilities to inform employers’ strategies for identifying the best channels for communication—rather than spamming employees on all channels all the time. Including Microsoft Teams is key to reducing digital noise so employees hear what’s truly important.”

The development provides an interesting follow-up to one recent Firstup survey, which revealed that more than half of employees feel overwhelmed by too many communications through too many channels at work. Hence, by dispatching content and communications into Microsoft Teams based on individual employee’s preferences, Firstup has made a major bid to optimize the picture across organizations.

Founded in 2010, Firstup has risen to prominence on the back of its ability to enable employers better connect with their workforce, design and deliver personalized communications, and gain engagement insights throughout the employee journey. Beyond that, the company delivers some extra utility at your disposal through real-time access of engagement data, and in case that’s not quite enough, it also serves an option to filter the said information by organization, department, or employee. Firstup’s excellence in what it does is even evident in its clientele, which has more than 40% of Fortune 100 companies at the minute, including giants like Amazon, Tesco, Ford, Hilton, and plenty others.

“The combination of Firstup with Microsoft allows our team to publish, target and streamline delivery of content and information to all caregivers—across all of our Microsoft endpoints,” said BJ Moore, CIO of Providence. “Plus, the analytics give us the ability to show how communications are driving our strategic initiatives, including our digital transformation.”
