There is plenty that human beings can do well, and yet there is little we do better than growing on a consistent basis. This tendency to get better, no matter the situation, has enabled us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is largely based on its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired from the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a tool run the show did scale up our experience through some outright unique avenues, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow continue to bring out the goods. The same has turned more and more evident in recent times, and assuming a new HRM development ends up with the desired impact, it will only put that trend on a higher pedestal moving forward.
Transamerica has officially launched a suite of customizable services called ConnectedClaimsSM, which is designed to make it easier for employees to access their workplace supplemental insurance benefits. But what is so different about the stated product? Well, to begin with, it brings you constant support with a new Customer Experience Team, a team that will leverage the company’s Closed Loop Feedback program to proactively solve the customer’s concern. Next up, we have an Automated Wellness Claims Decision functionality which accelerates the process of generating claims acknowledgment letter and ensures that it is completed within 24 hours. All in all, Transamerica processes 80 percent of wellness claims on the same day, whereas 93 percent are processed by day two. Moving on, under the new development, employers can now also offer ClaimsMinderSM alongside certain insurance policies to remind employees of their benefits. As these reminders are notably conceived using individual’s personal healthcare information, it is upto the employee whether they want to opt in or not. Another detail worth a mention here is how ConnectedClaims puts forth a paperless brand of filing claims. Such a digital-centric approach allows the user to file claims in a faster and hassle-free manner. Given the low paper wastage, the method is also more ethical than the alternatives.
“Even employees who prepare for the unexpected can find it challenging to deal with claims when medical events occur,” said Phil Eckman, President of Workplace Solutions for Transamerica. “With ConnectedClaims, we guide customers through the claims process and help them access the benefits they deserve however they prefer. At Transamerica, we continually look for ways to provide convenient and compassionate services when customers count on us most.”
Hold on, there is more. ConnectedClaims is understood to be well-equipped to facilitate claims integration across insurance policies where Transamerica can automatically verify if the worker has other policies. The idea here is to gain a timely knowhow and get the employee all the extra benefits which they might be qualified to avail. Lastly, we must dig into the availability of predictive analytics that use modeling and data science to make a more accurate guess about the required care, while also automating approval of other eligible benefits.
“Employee satisfaction is our top goal with ConnectedClaims because claims are at the core of everything we offer with our supplemental employee benefits,” said Eckman. “We want insurance benefits to be exceptionally accessible, and ConnectedClaims helps strengthen the process and improve the overall claims experience.”
