Helping You Unlock a Smarter Age of Workforce Management

Date:

There is a lot that human beings can do well, and yet there is little we do better than growing on a consistent basis. This progressive tendency on our part has already fetched us some huge milestones, with technology emerging as quite a major member of the stated group. The reason why we hold technology in such a high regard is, by and large, predicated upon its skill-set, which realized all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a slightly closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also inspired from the way we applied those skills across a real-world environment. The latter component, in fact, did a fair amount to give the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and consequentially, kickstart a tech revolution. This revolution, as we discovered, will scale up the human experience from every possible direction, but even after achieving a feat so notable, the prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering all the right goods. Our recent advancements have only made that trend more and more solid, except LumApps’ latest move promises to unlock much smarter horizons, smarter than whatever we have seen before.

LumApps, an Austin, Texas-based company that specializes in enhancing employee experience, has officially launched a new QR code login feature, which is designed to simplify the picture for frontline and deskless workers. Now, while LumApps’ already offers a host of different services focused on helping companies in better managing their workforce, the new feature allows managers and team leaders to create a personalized, time-limited QR Code that gives colleagues instant, authenticated access to their LumApps account. Also, guess what, it does so without needing an email or password at any point, a detail that significantly bolsters the convenience aspect and encourages better adoption. But how does the whole operation work on a more granular level? Well, once a leader has shared the QR code with the employee, the latter party then has to scan that code on their mobile phone. This will automatically download the app on a given device. Next, the app will seamlessly confirm your identity before syncing to a unique individual profile designed for every employee who is permitted to be there.

“With our new QR Code login feature, we’re simplifying the mobile app onboarding process and making it easy for deskless employees to stay connected to their company and peers – regardless of where and when they work,” said Sammy Gad, Product Manager of Mobile Experience at LumApps. “The QR Code feature is the latest example of LumApps delivering innovative, practical solutions to help our customers build community and cohesion at work. With more workers using the LumApps mobile app, companies can increase engagement, enhance productivity and improve the overall employee experience,”

The development provides an interesting follow-up to an Emergence report, which claims that, despite 80% of the global workforce performing deskless work every day, many workers still don’t have company-issued computers to get updates on corporate news and culture, interact with colleagues, or access key information, resources, or apps. This leads to a feeling of isolation, and the same is backed up by a report from Deloitte that states more than a third (36%) of frontline employees lacked a sense of belonging to their company.

Founded in 2012, LumApps has made a name for itself by providing what is industry’s first unified employee data layer to drive hyper-personalization. As a result, the company’s proprietary solution is the only one that makes it possible for employees to have customized interactions. LumApps’ excellence can also be validated through its esteemed clientele, which includes giants like Palo Alto, Publicis Sapient, Electronic Arts, Airbus, Just Eat, and many others.
