Getting AI to Carry a Bigger Chunk of Our HRM Prospects

Date:

The human identity is constructed upon a variety of traits, and yet none define us better than that desire to grow on a consistent basis. This progressive approach, on our part, has already enabled the world to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a major member of the stated group. The reason why technology enjoys such an esteemed stature among people is, by and large, predicated upon its skill-set, which ushered us towards a reality that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look up close for a second, it will become clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired from the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and consequentially, kickstarted a tech revolution. Of course, this revolution then went on to scale up the human experience through some outright unique avenues, but even after achieving such a monumental feat, technology will somehow continue to produce the right goods. The same has grown increasingly evident over the recent past, and assuming one new HRM-themed development shakes out just like we envision, it will only make that trend bigger and better moving forward.

Filtered has officially confirmed the launch of new AI-powered features that are all designed to serve versatile  HRM objectives like streamlining the technical hiring process, assessing Gen AI skills, combating fraud, and do a whole lot more. According to certain reports, this assortment of features begins with the ability to spot out any ChatGPT usage. Owing to the stated functionality, hiring teams can easily find out when an employee, rather than taking it on just as a coding support tool, is banking on ChatGPT to complete a larger chunk of their assignments. Next up, we have the AI-powered candidate profiles. Here, the idea is to basically leverage artificial intelligence and create intelligent summaries from the results of several   job simulations and assessments, along with candidate resumes, thus generating comprehensive insights about candidate performance across both hard and soft skills. We referred to those AI-generated summaries; the update also lets you bet on the same technology to put-together focused interview questions. Such a feature becomes absolutely crucial once you realize how it can target important skills or even certain information gaps where more evidence might be required to reach on an accurate assessment. In case the whole value proposition still don’t look attractive enough to you, then it must be mentioned that the users of Filtered’s new features will also be provided a medium to evaluate candidates’ ability in terms of writing “prompts” for large language models (LLMs) that successfully produce valuable code and information to help solve questions.

The development in question follows up one study commissioned by Filtered, a study where out of 500 participating talent acquisition leaders, 78% respondents claimed they are hiring more or the same as any other year, and 50% say remote hiring has made it harder to evaluate candidates due to large applicant volume. Staying on the results of this study, 96% respondents displayed a belief which deemed it essential for technical candidates to have experience with Gen AI. Moving on, to further contextualize the said features, one can also look into the fact that almost  98% of TA leaders are discussing how to leverage Gen AI in their recruiting process, and 52% already are using Gen AI under some capacity across their workflow.

“Many survey respondents expressed concern about Generative AI eliminating some recruiting positions in the future. But we see a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for talent acquisition professionals to use AI to solve many of their pain points while continuing to focus on the aspects of the job that will always require a human touch,” said Dan Finnigan, CEO of Filtered. “The technical hiring process has been broken for a long time, and previous efforts to use automation through tactics like resume screening were ineffective. Now, AI technology has advanced sufficiently to enable efficiency gains while still applying a human-centric, skills-based approach.”

Founded in 2018, Filtered has risen up on the back of a platform, which was the first ever solution to offer job simulations, a process where it would allow candidates to complete challenges with the exact tech stack they’d be using on the job. Not just that, the company’s overall excellence in combining combines coding assessments, recorded video responses, automated grading, and live video interviewing to offer a hassle-free recruitment experience has earned it the trust of many industry leaders like Procter & Gamble, Informatica, Rocket Mortgage, and others.
