A Move Deeply Focused on Bringing the Modern Worker Upto Pace with the Times

Date:

The human arsenal has always been a little on the loaded side, and yet it hasn’t seen a thing more significant than that desire of ours to improve at a consistent pace. We say this because the stated desire has already fetched the world some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is purposed around its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a powerful tool run the show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the right goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond

Skillsoft, a leading platform for transformative learning experiences, has officially released a host of updates for its now rebranded technology skilling solution called Codeacademy. According to certain reports, the update begins with an expanded content library, which will, from here onwards, boast more than 6,000 courses. The stated courses will touch on various in-demand tech disciplines, such as web development, cybersecurity, natural language processing AI, and more. Adding to the credibility of these courses is the fact that they have been developed using advice from subject matter experts and also authorized partners, including AWS, IBM, Cisco, and plenty others. Next up, we dig into Codeacademy’s proverbial Aspire Journeys, a feature given the means to provide flexible, multi-modal learning experiences geared towards meeting employee needs, accelerating skills proficiency, and driving business growth. All in all, the platform brings to the fore a total of 30 new interactive Aspire Journeys across AI, web development, data science, and other high-priority technology domains and programming languages. Complimenting this far-reaching nature of it is Codeacademy’s commitment to convenience, something which shows up quite clearly once you consider the platform is well-equipped to deliver hands-on learning tools. Staying on the point of hands-on learning for another second, it will be notably realized using comprehensive yet interactive lessons, on-demand video content, quizzes, and more than 500 new labs for practicing coding skills. Hold on, there is more, as the platform will further conceive a full range of product features like badging, reporting, and skill benchmarks. This, in particular, should do a lot to help leaders identify skills gaps, measure learner’s progress, and put-together personalized plans for continuous skills development and improvement.

“Through a wider range of content, learning modalities, and features, the enhanced Codecademy enterprise solution allows us to meet the unique and diverse training needs of technology teams today,” said Adam Goldman, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Skillsoft’s Codecademy enterprise business. “We believe that flexible, hands-on training and learning-by-doing is the most effective way for workers to build technology skills, enabling them to discover their full potential and drive meaningful growth for their organization.”

The move in question follows up on Skillsoft’s recently-released C-Suite Perspective report, which claimed that almost 80% of surveyed C-Level IT leaders have observed substantial skill gaps within their workforce, whereas over 70% experience difficulties when it comes to hiring qualified talent. Interestingly enough, the report dove in further by revealing how a serious number of C-Level leaders deem cybersecurity as the most difficult area for recruitment. That being said, nearly 60% rank their teams’ AI skills as low or at least moderately low.

“At a time of profound and rapid technology innovation, it is imperative for IT leaders to be proactive about building the digital skills needed for future growth and long-term business success, including areas like AI,” said Apratim Purakayastha, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Skillsoft. “Through Skillsoft’s Codecademy enterprise solution, we are providing businesses the most comprehensive and effective way to develop in-house technology skills, harness transformative technologies like generative AI, and as a result, build a competitive edge in today’s fast-paced digital economy.”
