Democratizing the AI Impact to Lead More Organizations towards an Efficient Future

Date:

Deloitte has officially announced an extension of its partnership with Intel to help businesses across the world deploy AI solutions within latest hardware and software optimizations, and do so in a cost efficient manner. To understand the significance of such a development, we must acknowledge how, as today, there are several challenges that can keep a business from being able to deploy fully scaled AI solutions. One such challenge, for instance, is the stringent requirement of right infrastructure and software selection, with some AI workloads benefiting more than the rest from the parallel processing capabilities of GPUs. For the workloads which are left out here, though, they have the most gain from this Deloitte-Intel partnership. But what does that mean on an actionable note? Well, under the agreed terms, Deloitte will deploy over 35 of Intel’s OpenVino™ AI models in their CortexAI platform to drive greater time to value and efficiency. This includes improved wait time analytics supported with Intel’s SceneScape for the hospitality industry, better data wrangling using Intel® Geti™ for computer vision AI, automated infrastructure inspection through Intel’s edge solutions for the utilities industry, smart warehouse deployment utilizing Intel® RealSense™ cameras for the manufacturing industry, and field service engineer technical specification generation for the industrials industry.

Having touched on its clearly expansive potential, we must also acknowledge how Deloitte and Intel will try to realize the given value proposition through three particular solutions. These solutions begin the from Digital AI Strategy product where the idea is to help companies analyze and demonstrate the advantages of using Intel-based AI technologies. Next up, we have the prospect of AI optimization and solution strategy. This involves leveraging Intel-built extensions and libraries to optimize hardware infrastructure and software applications. Once optimized, the stated applications and the wider infrastructure should prove enormously useful in the context of giving users greater economic value.

“Our collaboration with Deloitte allows us to scale our latest AI hardware and software solutions across the PC, edge and data center, while providing value-added results to enterprises around the world. Intel’s AI solutions are supported by open ecosystems and industry standards, allowing customers to tailor their AI for unique business requirements and bring maximum TCO benefits to their organization,” said Justin Hotard, executive vice president and general manager of Intel’s Data Center and AI Group.

Rounding up highlights for us are the new AI storefront solutions. Here, you can basically access Deloitte and Intel-vetted independent software vendor products, products which are markedly built on next-gen AI hardware and personal computers.

The development in question, although significant in own right, is only a part of Delloite’s recent effort towards scaling its AI offerings. In case you didn’t know, last year, the tech giant launched what was its specialized Generative AI practice. On top of that, it is currently implementing Generative AI capabilities across its purpose-specific Large Language Models (LLMs) and chatbots to support teams at every touchpoint. Hold on, there is more, considering we still haven’t discussed Delloite’s pledge to train more than 120,000 professionals via the Deloitte AI Academy™ and invest well over $2 billion in global technology learning and development initiatives to boost AI skills, as well as our knowhow in other areas.

“Together, Deloitte and Intel are committed to better serve clients with robust AI capabilities and in the coming months Deloitte will be significantly ramping up this capability by accelerating the adoption of Intel’s most advanced AI software and hardware methodologies,” said Dounia Senawi, chief commercial officer at Deloitte Consulting LLP.
