Leveling Up Your Payroll

Date:

Everyone understands the human arsenal to be pretty damn expansive, and yet we also know that it doesn’t have a thing more valuable than our desire to improve at a consistent basis. This hard-set commitment towards getting better under all circumstances has empowered the world to clock some huge milestones, with technology emerging as quite a major member of the group. The reason why we hold technology in such a high regard is, by and large, predicated upon its skill-set, which guided us towards a reality that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look beyond the surface for one hot second, it will become clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired from the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component, in fact, did a lot to give the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and as a result of the same, initiate a full-blown tech revolution. Of course, this revolution eventually went on to scale up the human experience through some outright unique avenues, but even after achieving a feat so notable, technology will somehow continue to bring forth the right goods. The same has turned more and more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only put that trend on a higher pedestal moving forward.

Gapsquare, a brainchild of XpertHR, has officially launched an upgraded version of its Workforce Planner, which is designed to help HR and compensation leaders model talent management scenarios for the primary purpose of achieving pay equity and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging) goals. According to certain reports, this new Workforce Planner comes well-equipped with a setup that ensures your organization is able to meet DEIB commitments, and simultaneously navigate through all the pressures brought into the picture by several reporting requirements. This is it achieves using talent management strategies such as recruitment, retention, and attrition. Anyway, the users can also rely on Gapsquare’s Workforce Planner to align their payroll operations with any new pay legislation. Moving on, the solution can manage pay equity across the entire employee lifecycle; including pay and salary range finder for new recruits, suggested pay adjustment strategy to maintain pay equity, and the ability to create salary range for promotions. To make such features even more value-driven, Gapsquare’s Workforce Planner gets them to work as per businesses’ individual representation goals and budget, thus making it possible for them to put-together a fully customized plan.
“On one hand HR has the hefty task of delivering a strategy that achieves pay equity and drives better DEIB within their business, on the other hand they have limited resources to achieve this, with less time and budget to delve deep into what could be the answer they need to succeed. Fortunately, with the launch of Gapsquare Workforce Planner, HR and compensation leaders can build a data-informed strategy that can deliver on time and within budget,” said Zara Nanu, Director of Fair Future of Work Strategy at XpertHR.
The development provides an interesting follow up to one XpertHR research, which revealed that almost 75% of CHROs believed talent retention and/or talent attraction to be a top 5 strategic HR priority right now, but given time and budget constraints, the chances of an employee joining and staying remain sensationally low. These findings are further supported by another study where we learnt how, during the early 2023; nearly half of companies suffering from worse-than-average turnover either froze or, at the very least, decreased their HR budget.

Coming back to the new Workforce Planner, it can also be combined with other XpertHR legal and compliance solutions. This, in turn, can let users pick on all what they need to know about evolving regulations like pay transparency.

Established in 2017, Gapsquare’s clientele, as of today, has plenty big names, including Conde Nast, Weiden + Kennedy, Osborne Clarke, and more.

“Gapsquare Workforce Planner helps HR leaders model talent management scenarios, including time and budget-bound planning and can provide the necessary insight to achieve pay equity and meet strategic compensation goals. This proactive look at the possible future shape of your organization means you can ensure diversity and pay equity are at the core of these plans. Pay equity can be achieved through better workforce scenario planning, and with the Gapsquare Workforce Planner tool, businesses can navigate the pay transparency landscape,” said Nanu.
