Breaking Down All Walls to Foster Greater Work Collaboration

Date:

The human arsenal has always had a thing for going past every recognizable boundary, but at the same time, there isn’t anything more valuable about it than that desire to improve at a consistent pace. We can say this because the stated desire has already fetched the world some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is purposed around its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a powerful tool run the show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the right goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond.

Lucid Software, the leader in visual collaboration software, has officially confirmed the launch of its APIs and developer platform, which will enable Lucid’s users and partners to better streamline their workflows. This will be done through an option to create, publish, and distribute your apps and integrations right from within the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. Talk about how the platform will deliver its promised value proposition on an actionable note, it will let users customize the said suite’s Lucidchart and Lucidspark solutions to their unique use cases, while simultaneously bringing greater visualization into their workflows. Here, you can create custom shape libraries, bidirectional data integrations, and auto-visualizations to accommodate different objectives. Another detail we must acknowledge is rooted in the platform’s sharing capabilities. You see, with an option to share your apps, one can notably access the work of Lucid’s extensive worldwide user base, which currently holds more than a whopping 60 million users. According to certain reports, the companies that are using Lucid’s latest brainchild at launch include Salesforce, Slack, ServiceNow, Notion, and a handful of others. But how exactly are they applying it to support their individual cause? Well, for starters, Salesforce seems to be banking upon Lucidchart to customize templates, charts and projects in the Salesforce shape library. Such a move should let the company standardize documentation across the board. In Slack’s case, the platform is making it  easy for users to quickly create, access and share Lucid visuals, and they can do it all without ever leaving Slack’s natural workflow. Moving on to ServiceNow, it is again using Lucidchart, in conjunction with its own ServiceNow® Application Portfolio Management (APM) data, to automatically generate diagrams and visualize areas for optimization. Then, we have Notion who is building upon the idea that Lucid documents can be directly embedded, viewed, and shared inside a single ecosystem, something which helps the company keep their visuals and context all in one place.

“Our APIs and developer platform empower users and partners to build and deliver powerful, customized solutions for their teams and customers, further increasing efficiency and reducing context switching across apps,” said Dan Lawyer, chief product officer at Lucid Software. “Today’s teams need solutions that cut through the complexity and work where they work. By utilizing our latest APIs, users and partners will be able to leverage Lucid to strengthen existing workflows with the power of visual collaboration, enabling them to more quickly achieve alignment and accelerate innovation and productivity.”

Founded in 2010, Lucid Software’s rise to prominence is orchestrated by an industry-leading ability to foster visual collaboration. Using a diverse set of products to push you past every location or workflow-related complexity, the company’s excellence in what it does can be inferred from the fact that it is, at present, serving giants like Google, GE, NBC Universal, and plenty others.
