Reforming Your Workspace to Ensure a Significantly Smarter Operation

Date:

The human mind has always been expansive beyond every recognizable boundary, and yet it still hasn’t touched on anything more significant than that desire of ours to improve at a consistent pace. We say this because the stated desire has already fetched the world some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is purposed around its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a powerful tool run the show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the right goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond.

VMware, a leading provider of multi-cloud services for all apps enabling digital innovation with enterprise control, has officially launched modern AI integrations for its Anywhere Workspace platform named Workspace ONE.  These integrations are designed to automatically optimize employee experience, drive new vulnerability management use cases, and simplify application lifecycle management. According to certain reports, the development brings to the fore new insights and playbooks based on greatly expanded data and machine learning algorithms meant to enhance DEX remediation capabilities. Such a move should broaden data access, help strengthen VMware Insights, and make it possible for resolution of more issues. Next up, we must talk about how VMware will now allow delivery of new app performance scores, alongside existing mobile device, desktop, and virtual environment experience scores. These scores are further complimented by an ability to automatically alert the relevant personnel if and when a SaaS app service goes down, paving the way for issue redressal without support tickets. Not just technological prowess, VMware has also dedicated a fair amount of thought to the security aspect. You see, to conceive meaningful progress around here, the company has confirmed an expanded partnership with Intel through a one-of-a-kind, cloud-native integration of Workspace ONE with Intel vPro®. In simple terms, the stated integration will allow users to manage work devices entirely from the cloud. Not only does it deliver maximum security throughout the operation, but it also eliminates any need for you to set up an on-premises infrastructure and management software. As a part of the partnership with Intel, VMware’s platform users can access below-the-OS vulnerability insights, and visibility to reduce the impact of potential exploits in a speedy manner. The visibility promised to users even seeps into the fact that they can now enjoy a centralized view of all Intel vPro-powered PCs, including the ones that are outside of office parameters, and also the ones that are powered off.

“Last year, we announced our Autonomous Workspace vision as a path forward for organizations to navigate the challenges brought on by hybrid work,” said Shankar Iyer, senior vice president and general manager of End-User Computing at VMware. “We are thrilled to unveil new advancements for our customers that expand data sources and insights, integrate with technology partners for improved security, and unify app delivery strategy across all virtual desktops and apps. These innovations continue to progress our vision of providing the next evolution of digital workspaces.”

Another detail worth a mention in the context of this development is actually a follow up to VMware’s recent launch of Apps on Demand solution. Put-together to unify app management and intelligently deploy apps to published app hosts or non-persistent desktop environments, the solution has now grown to let users capture apps once and deliver to many persistent virtual desktops. By doing so, it automates the app delivery process with up to 99% compatibility and reduces management time and costs for any desktop or published app environment. This value proposition becomes all the more attractive when you consider VMware App Volumes is the only solution to help organizations deliver and manage apps across VMware Horizon, Citrix, Microsoft, and Amazon virtual desktop.

One testimony for VMware Anywhere Workspace also comes from a proven giant in Boeing. So far, the company has used the platform across the United States and in more than 65 countries to support its global workforce of 140,000 employees.

“VMware Anywhere Workspace helps us manage and protect end points, provide a common platform to access apps and tools, as well as helping facilitate a digital experience for our employees,” said Kristina Ross, Boeing Workplace Solutions Director for Research & Technology. “Workspace ONE helped streamline our transition from traditional PC lifecycle management to Windows 10 modern management which was enabled by our shift to a SaaS-based solution for the company. Today, we have a unified view to oversee all endpoint requirements, and the adoption of SaaS enhanced our scalability and ability to shift focus from infrastructure to business facing solutions.”
