The human arsenal has always known to contain a myriad of different abilities, but nothing even comes close to the one that allows us to improve at a consistent clip. We say this because the stated ability has already fetched the world some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is purposed around its skill-set, which guided us towards a reality that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a powerful tool run the show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the right goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond.
Oracle has officially announced the decision to install new employee recognition and rewards capabilities to Oracle ME, the employee experience platform within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM). According to certain reports, the stated update will be headlined by a first-of-its-kind recognition and rewards offering called Oracle Celebrate, which is designed to help companies boost performance, engagement, and retention through comprehensive workforce insights. Talk about Oracle Celebrate in a bit more detail, it will, for starters, allow users to foster peer-to-peer recognition. Here, the idea is to let employers and leaders acknowledge workers using real-time, contextual, and personal recognition tied to business values. In order to deliver this promised recognition at the best possible time, Oracle Celebrate effectively integrates the feature into an employee’s daily routine and flow of work, such as weekly pulse surveys, emails, or instant messenger. Not just downstream recognition, the solution also makes it possible for employees to reward their peers for milestone events, such as work anniversaries and promotions, or for nominations like employee of the month. This particular feature is a result of the enhancements made to employee profiles in Oracle Cloud HCM. Complimenting the same is a generative AI assistant who will strengthen peer-to-peer recognition by generating recommended improvements to employees’ submissions. You see, such an ingenious feature should empower employees to create more impactful notes of recognition for their peers across the organization. Upon every piece of recognition, the employees will also be given points which they can redeem at their own discretion for concrete rewards their employer has created and embedded into the system. Another detail worth a mention would be how Oracle Celebrate delivers at our disposal a dedicated recognition insights dashboard. The stated dashboard will guide managers and leaders to understand and act on information in the context of what their team is being most recognized for, identify their top contributors, and highlight individuals who may require more attention and support, therefore paving the way for an equitable environment.
“Employees are the foundation of any successful organization, and leaders need to ensure that their people feel celebrated and valued or risk losing both talent and productivity,” said Yvette Cameron, senior vice president of product strategy at Oracle Cloud HCM. “With Oracle Celebrate, organizations can now leverage a complete, unified employee experience platform that aligns recognition with company values to cultivate a culture of appreciation and recognition, while encouraging more impactful peer-to-peer interactions. These new capabilities make employee recognition easy, meaningful, and inclusive while empowering HR and business leaders to prioritize employee appreciation, boost engagement, and motivate their workforce.”
Hold on, we aren’t done yet, as Oracle Celebrate also brings with it a recognition-based social feed where companies can create a real-time stream of organization and team-wide shoutouts and awards. Such a feature is meant to promote camaraderie among employees, while simultaneously providing visibility into their daily efforts and accolades that often go unnoticed in regards to a business’ wider ecosystem. Rounding off the highlights is real-time recognition and engagement data which will help organizations to continuously monitor and update recognition programs with timely and accurate information. This way the organization can place recognition efforts alongside visible business impact such as attrition, engagement, and productivity, to better judge the effectiveness of their recognition programs.
“We are excited about Oracle Celebrate and its potential to introduce innovative capabilities that revolutionize how we personalize the employee journey. We are hopeful that Oracle Celebrate will help us easily acknowledge the dedication and hard work of our team members all the while reinforcing our commitment to our organizational culture and productivity. We believe that by being recognized for their contributions, our employees will feel more seen, supported, and empowered to be their best selves and deliver their best work,” said Ushaan Abeywickrema, director of human resources at MAS Capital.
