Delivering a Quicker and Fairer Lowdown on Your Workforce

Date:

Human beings are known for a variety of things, but most importantly, we are known for getting better on a consistent basis. This progressive tendency on our part has already got us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology appearing as quite a major member of the stated group. The reason why we hold technology in such a high regard is, by and large, based on its skill-set, a skill-set which realized all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look a little bit closer, it will become clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real-world setting. The latter component, in fact, did a lot to give the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and consequentially, kickstart a tech revolution. This revolution then scaled up the human experience from every conceivable direction, but even after achieving such a monumental feat, technology will somehow keep on bringing the right goods to the table. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming a newly-launched solution ends up having the desired impact; it will only make that trend bigger for the future and beyond.

Confirm, the first platform to inject science into performance reviews to ensure job advancement is based on data, has officially launched a new auto-calibration solution, which is designed to make the employee performance review process a lot faster and fairer. You see, while the stated sort of calibration was conceived to create consistency across the organization, it has somehow ended up with an image of being hugely-consuming, as the process can take weeks or even months to complete. Such a dynamic can disrupt teams, and therefore, the operations beyond all limits. But how will Confirm’s feature remedy that issue? Well, it will do so by getting calibrations to take just a week, or even a few days, thus saving an estimated 50 to 75 percent of the time.

Having addressed the undue time-consumption, the solution moves on to unpack another problem with the traditional review procedures, the problem of bias. More often than not, we see that an employee’s rating has been diluted by some misplaced interests or the other. Confirm’s approach here is predicated upon running a series of checks on each manager rating. These checks are driven by a rulebook defined by the customer and what the platform learns about an employee’s performance through Organizational Network Analysis (ONA). Talk about the latter a little bit, Confirm’s ONA technique considers the network model of work where all employees can share their opinion on who they think is working upto the standard and who is not. By democratizing the employees’ rating in such a way, the company is able to achieve a far more reliable result than what the current methods have manager to deliver all these years.

“Confirm’s mission is to rehaul the broken and biased performance review process that is the norm at most companies,” said Josh Merrill, Co-founder and CEO of Confirm. “We want to make the entire process easier and less time consuming for managers; software and automation now makes that possible. With Confirm Auto-calibration, we are introducing a first for the industry that will save companies thousands of hours. Most importantly, this feature will help quell the loudest voice in the room phenomenon, which means a fairer performance review process for all.”
