A New Piece of Hope for the HRM Space to Become More Efficient than Ever Before

Date:

The human arsenal has always been a little on the loaded side, and yet it still hasn’t seen an element more significant than that desire of ours to improve at a consistent pace. We say this because the stated desire has already fetched the world some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is purposed around its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a powerful tool run the show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the right goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond.

Oracle has officially confirmed the release of new generative AI-powered capabilities to enhance efficiency and streamline HR processes for candidates, employees, managers, and recruiters. According to certain reports, the stated new capabilities will coexist within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management platform, but what are they going to bring on a more actionable level? Well, supported by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the enhancements bring the feature of Assisted Authoring, which will help users in quickly generating the relevant content. The feature will basically leverage short prompts, such as draft title for a job requisition or performance goal, to facilitate a rather seamless content creation across the board, thus ensuring the user can focus on more pressing matters. Talk about possible use cases of this functionality, it can be used to conceive job descriptions and requisitions; automated goal creation, and HR Helpdesk knowledgebase articles that guide HR leaders through various day-to-day tasks. Next up, we have the Suggestions aspect where the platform will be able to bank upon its AI and natural language foundations to present user with accurate suggestions across different areas so to accelerate workflows. Here, the idea, let’s say, is to use the feature for putting forth automated recommendations in the context of something like survey questions. It can also provide more focused development tips for managers to relay to their teams, and do a whole lot more. Lastly, there is the Summarization ability, an ability which will be responsible for packaging together key insights from one or more data sources, while simultaneously making sure the said information remains largely digestible. This particular tool should prove useful when it comes down to; for example, deliver a summary of the employee’s performance during their regular review cycle, with the final product based on organic feedback sourced from the employee’s peers and managers.

“Generative AI is boosting productivity and unlocking a new world of skills, ideas, and creativity that can have an immediate impact in the workplace,” said Chris Leone, executive vice president of applications development for Oracle Cloud HCM. “With the ability to summarize, author, and recommend content, generative AI helps to reduce friction as employees complete important HR functions. For example, with the new embedded generative AI capabilities in Oracle Cloud HCM, our customers will be able to take advantage of large language models to drastically reduce the time required to complete tasks.”

Talk about Oracle’s proprietary HCM platform, it is well-equipped in handling all those HR-related activities, right from when a hire is made to the moment the employee leaves your company. However, more importantly, it offers you an integrated picture that is crucial to any effort of constructing a single source of truth for the entire workforce.

“We have already identified more than 100 high-value-added scenarios for generative AI in HR. But we’re only just getting started! With the help of customers, who drive approximately 80 percent of updates to our products, we are continually embedding new use cases that enable organizations to embrace continuous innovation and perpetually improve HR processes and productivity,” added Leone.
