Unifying Your Fragmented Remote Work Operations

Date:

Surely, human beings have a lot in their bag, but to be honest, nothing there is more valuable than that tendency of ours to consistently get better. This is because the stated tendency has already enabled us to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology emerging as quite a major member of the group. The reason why we hold technology in such a high regard is pretty much centered upon its skill-set, which ushered us towards a reality that nobody could have ever imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we dig a little deeper, it will become clear how the whole runner was also inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real-world setting. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centrepiece of every horizon. Having such an ingenious tool run the show, unsurprisingly enough, scaled up the human experience from all conceivable directions, but even after achieving such a monumental feat, technology will somehow continue to deliver the right goods. This has become more evident over the recent past, and assuming Verizon’s latest move ends up making the desired impact, it will only turn that trend into much bigger of a deal for the future and beyond.

Verizon has officially confirmed the launch of Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams, a service which is designed to integrate mobile devices with Microsoft Teams for easier calling and more productive overall collaborations. As per certain reports, Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams introduces us to a host of benefits, such as the one that lets you use a single phone number across multiple devices. This makes it possible for employees to work from anywhere in the world and not lose any context or business presence. Next up, the service’s integrated calling solution presents itself as the perfect replacement for all those fragmented standalone options, and that like you can guess, goes on to trigger a huge reduction in costs. But could these lower costs possibly translate to a substandard service? Well, not quite, considering calls made through Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams are actually treated as voice calls on the Verizon LTE network, thus ensuring top-notch quality. Hold on, there is more. The solution is also equipped enough to enforce secure and compliant business policies on all employee communications.

“What we’re hearing from customers is a need for the true mobilization of unified communications and collaboration to support their hybrid work environments,” said Sampath Sowmyanarayan, Chief Executive Officer at Verizon Business. “We’re proud to be the first operator in the United States to unleash Teams Phone Mobile and to help customers further mobilize their workforce through the addition of Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams to our robust suite of collaboration and calling solutions. This is yet another example of how we’re helping customers to adapt and succeed in today’s changing workplace by delivering the flexibility to work from anywhere.”

Now, remote working might have been a by-product of the Covid 19 pandemic, but it has somehow managed to survive even in the absence of strict lockdowns. To give you an idea, Microsoft alone connects over 12 million PTSN users. However, despite all the convenience that it delivers, the concept is still a high-maintenance. You see, for a remote work operation to be successful, companies must make significant investments in devices, voice services, and support. Such requirements can hugely deflate a bottom line. Enter Verizon Mobile for Microsoft Teams, which is literally all about taking a more unified and cost-effective approach.

Interestingly enough, it’s not the first time Verizon has made an effort to improve the landscape for hybrid workers. Previously, the company has unveiled solutions like Verizon Calling with Microsoft Teams (Direct Routing), Verizon VoIP for Operator Connect, BlueJeans Gateway for Microsoft Teams, and more.
