Putting Your Employee Engagement Efforts on a Level Never Seen Before

Date:

The human arsenal has never known any limitations, but having said that, it also hasn’t seen anything more valuable than that desire of ours to improve at a consistent pace. We can say this because the stated desire has already fetched the world some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is purposed around its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, getting such a powerful tool to run the whole show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the right goods. The same has grown to become a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond.

Alight, leading cloud-based human capital and technology services provider, has officially introduced an upgraded version of its employee experience platform, Alight Worklife. According to certain reports, the update, for starters, brings forth better mobile-enabled engagement, which means simplifying access to important information and tasks, making them available anytime and anywhere. This includes integrated to-dos across the HR and benefits ecosystem, new mobile-friendly employee journeys, and other functionalities relating to embedded video communications. Furthermore, the company’s AI-based virtual assistant, Ask Lisa can now respond to much deeper employee inquiries, and it can do so with specific and completely personalized information like spending account claim decisions, debit card status, and even benefit payment information for inactive employees. Next up, we have enhanced platform tooling. Here, the focus is mainly on the all-new Alight Control Center, a centralized, self-service administrator tooling suite fully integrated into the Alight Worklife platform.  The stated center will bear the responsibility of leveraging tools and insights for administrator roles to increase productivity and simplify daily administration through an enhanced self-service technology. Apart from it, such a tool can also help administrators produce and manage Alight Worklife content through new creation tools, flexible configurations, easy step-by-step flows, and upgraded security. Then, we have an expanded platform ecosystem, which offers a greater amount of partner integrations and content libraries that enhance Alight’s portal experience. To give you exact facts and figures, the platform now has over 115 program detail pages across 65 vendors, thus ensuring plug & play content and promotions for employer’s most important program investments. We referred to new employee journeys becoming available on the company’s app, but what are they likely to cover? Well, some examples can be building and caring for your family, caring for your mind and body, and starting a new job etc. Notably, the feature is there to let employees create a highly personalized and guided experience, an experience where they can seamlessly utilize the programs that improve their personal and family wellbeing.

“Alight Worklife continues to serve as a powerful employee engagement and experience platform that is delivering compelling business outcomes for our clients,” said Josh Welch, SVP of Product at Alight. “The latest release drives employee engagement further by delivering a great digital experience designed to connect employees to their wellbeing ecosystem, unlocking untapped value for both employees and employers. This is resonating across organizations as we see an increase in overall digital engagement traffic and mobile users and digital customer satisfaction scores remain very high.”

Hold on, we still have a few bits left to unpack. Almost like an extension to those employee journeys, Alight now allows users to optimize all their health decisions. For instance, Ask Lisa will streamline the annual enrollment experience for them with an option to easily re-enroll into their current benefit programs. The benefits enrollment experience itself has seen some major updates, considering you can now restore enrollment progress, access extra plan design information during enrollment, and more effectively compare plan design changes year-over-year. Beyond that, it is Alight’s Health Navigation which is poised to get brand-new digital Health Pro Connection capabilities. Offering users the luxury to choose between new and expanded self-service capabilities or connect to personalized assistance with a live Health Pro, the service combines Alight’s Smart Select MD® provider search, digital ID card, insurance details, integrated case management, and a Health Pro live message center to enables you in terms of effectively managing your complex health care needs. Complimenting the entire value proposition are new features for the live customer care channel, including new natural language technology and smart routing capabilities that connect users to the right resource at a significantly quicker clip.

“The momentum we’re seeing with Alight Worklife is truly exciting and we are thrilled to be delivering another release of exciting enhancements to our valued customers,” said Welch.
