The human arsenal has touched on horizons wider than any known boundary, and yet it still hasn’t seen an element more significant than that desire of ours to grow on a consistent basis. We say this because the stated desire has already got the world to hit upon some huge milestones, with technology appearing as a rather unique member of the group. The reason why technology’s credentials are so anomalous is focused on its skill-set, which was unprecedented enough to realize all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, a closer look should be able to reveal how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real world environment. The latter component was, in fact, what gave the creation a spectrum-wide presence and made it the ultimate centerpiece of every horizon. Now, having such a powerful tool run the show did expand our experience in many different directions, but even after reaching so far ahead, this prodigious concept called technology will somehow keep on delivering the goods. The same has grown a lot more evident in recent times, and assuming one new HRM-themed development pans out just like we envision, it will only propel that trend towards greater heights over the near future and beyond.
NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services leader, has officially launched a new end-to-end employee talent experience platform, which is designed to help companies in conducting targeted new skilling and reskilling programs at scale. Named TalentBASE, the new platform works by conceiving a unified, personalized learning environment for employees, an environment where each and every individual can expect to access, consume, and interact with the latest training content. Beyond the extensive set of features, the product is also mindful about presenting the whole value proposition through a single integrated channel, thus offering a sense of convenience that is still a rarity within this particular space. But what are some granular-level services a user can avail here? Well, for starters, TalentBASE delivers at your disposal the functionality which is needed when trying to define future skill profiles, and simultaneously, address any potential gaps through skills modeling. Next up, it hands you the means to design high impact training paths. The stated paths will be generated on the back of in-depth datasets so to ensure accurate results across all possible cases. We already covered the solution’s ability to facilitate employee upskilling and reskilling efforts, but what we did not cover was how TalentBASE will even enable you to actually apply your learned skills. With a chance of testing and validating their concepts in an actionable setting, companies should feel more comfortable in regards to becoming a skills-led organization. Another detail worth a mention is that, alongside spurring employee growth, the platform might also be useful in devising new roles, teams, and functions across the entire organization.
“Employee attrition is at an all-time high, with many employees saying they feel unfulfilled in their roles,” said Dan Albright, President and Global Head of Consulting at NTT DATA Services. “At the same time, global disruption and trends like quiet quitting have created an urgency for employers to support their workforces more efficiently. TalentBASE helps close skills gaps and better engage employees through continuous learning opportunities so employers can fully embrace the future of work.”
The launch provides an interesting follow-up to one research commissioned by NTT Data. According to this research, workers who grew into leaders find themselves in a better financial situation than their non-leader counterparts. In terms of numbers, the leader contingent is more likely to have seen profitability of more than 25% over the past three years, clocking 38% vs. 29% of non leaders, and less likely to have experienced profitability decline over the same period, settling around 24% vs. 33%.
Coming back to the new platform, it will have a package of an estimated 50,000 courses, and to support such a massive scale, NTT Data has partnered with several edtech giants, including EdCast by Cornerstone, Udemy, Skillsoft, and Cornerstone Content Anytime.
A $30 billion trusted global innovator of IT and business services, NTT Data has risen up the ranks by helping its customers through business and technology consulting, industry and digital solutions, applications development and management, managed edge-to-cloud infrastructure services, BPO, systems integration, global data centers’ operation, and more.
