Building Human Resources of Tomorrow

Date:

Human beings are known for a myriad of different things, but most importantly, they are known for getting better on a consistent basis. This tendency to improve under every possible situation has already fetched us some huge milestones, with technology appearing as quite a major member of the stated group. The main reason why technology enjoys such an esteemed stature among people is largely down to its skill-set, which realized all the possibilities for us that we couldn’t have imagined otherwise. Nevertheless, if we look a little bit closer, it should become clear how the whole runner was also very much inspired by the way we applied those skills across a real-world environment. The latter component, in fact, did a lot to give the creation a spectrum-wide presence, and consequentially, kickstart a tech revolution. This revolution, as we discovered, will go on to scale up the human experience from every conceivable direction, but even after achieving such a monumental feat, technology will somehow continue to deliver every right good in the book. The same has turned more and more evident in recent times, and truth be told, two newly-launched programs should only make that trend bigger for the future and beyond.

MIT xPRO, an online learning platform focused on developing the workforce of tomorrow, has officially launched two new upskilling programs in Executive Leadership Principles and Machine Learning for Business, Engineering, and Science. According to certain reports, these programs will be delivered through digital skills training platform, Simplilearn, and as a result, they’ll be able to combine MIT xPRO’s research-backed thought leadership in engineering and management with Simplilearn’s dynamic, interactive, digital learning experience.

But what do these programs offer on a granular level? Well, The Executive Leadership Principles program, for starters, will help learners in getting a hang of various critical organizational and leadership aspects. These aspects are likely to include organizational strategies and capabilities, applying influence, negotiation, conflict resolution, change management, problem solving, navigating culture and networks, discovering and implementing leadership strengths, and more. Best suited for early and mid-career professionals, this initiative will bring learners an executive certificate of completion and 5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from MIT xPRO, while also giving them a chance to connect with international community of professionals and work on some real-world projects.

Talk about the Machine Learning for Business, Engineering and Science program, it is designed to bolster your knowhow regarding machine learning mainly through computational engineering principles and applications. Interestingly enough, people who enroll in this program will also get a chance to apply their knowledge across different avenues, such as simulations, assessments, case studies, tools, and more. Best suited for professionals with bachelor’s degrees in engineering, business or physical science, learners here can expect to earn a Professional Certificate of completion and 10 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from MIT xPRO.

“Students and professionals today are keen to regularly upskill and up their game when it comes to strengthening their careers. There is a need to stay abreast with industry developments and be open and agile to change. In this regard, we are pleased to work with Simplilearn to curate programs that are sure to provide in-depth and comprehensive knowledge, relevant to the dynamic industry shifts. We are confident that they will assist learners in achieving their career objectives,” said MIT xPRO.

This is, of course, an addition to MIT xPRO’s ongoing bid to make learning accessible anytime and from anywhere.  By using cutting-edge research in the neuroscience of learning, the platform has already helped a vast number of professionals in building their skills, and with its latest move, it should look to make an even bigger impact moving forward.
